When Brothers Dwell in Unity

Psalm 133:1 NSRV  “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!”

This weekend I was blessed with the great opportunity to come together in Missouri City Texas to support the first annual “Swingin On The Green” The Burt Clark Foundation Golf Tournament to raise funds to support college scholarships for deserving high school students and to celebrate the life and vision of my twin brother, Burt.  Coming together with family, friends, colleagues, and great partners, we enjoyed each other’s company as we laughed, reminisced, and felt the power of Burt’s presence over 18 holes of competitive golf.

What a wonderful spirit filled weekend. The scriptures tell us that when we come together in unity, God will command a blessing on us. As it says in Psalms, “How good it is, how pleasant, when the people dwell as one.”  It is good to dwell with others in unity.

Dear God, thank you for the beauty and blessings of unity, and the presence of your people and the provisions of your promises. Amen.
